Since Jan 14, I went register for a few online e-learning courses to learn new things and to prevent my brain getting more rusty. The website is Coursera, it was introduced to me by Samuel Achi since last year. But that time I was still in the hospital for management, with no internet connection, unstable & limited quota mobile data connection and also unable to fully control my laptop by myself, so I haven't started that time.
Coursera is I guess an US based company, it has not only US State Institution but also universities all over the globe as partners. Ranging from engineering, medicine, law, business, social health courses and many more, there are universities from Beijing (Chinese), Russia (Russian) etc etc. But majority are US State Institutions if you want to be taught in English tho. Until now I haven't seen any UK or AUS universities joined which is quite disappointed. The courses are of course just teach fundamentals in a period of a few months only, the professors can't teach all of it as it'll need a few years. There will be some simple quizzes, written assignments and exams. If you pass, you will get a Statement of Accomplishment or Verified Certificate if joined Signature Track for some courses and you'll need to pay for Signature Track of course.
For me, I took quite a lot of courses at one go, I just can't stop joining when I saw a course which I'm interested in. I took Computational Neuroscience, Introduction to Clinical Neurology, Statistical Analysis of fMRI, Calculus Two and another two as revision, Calculus One and Advanced Chemistry. Thanks Samuel for introducing Coursera to me, or else my brain is gonna become more and more rusty.
I'm not trying to help Coursera to advertise or promote, just sharing here, so if you wanna join or learn a bit more on something you interested but couldn't afford to or even as revision, go register yourself and join a course at HERE.
